Since 2021, Picture’s Up Productions has been dedicated to producing student films, as well shining light on the filmmaking process and broader media industry workings through informative behind-the-scenes content and video essays.

i’m sam morgan, and this is picture’s up.

Hi! I’m Sam Morgan, and I’ve been making movies since I was 8 years old. I got started by making stop-motion movies on my iPod and have been hooked on the filmmaking process ever since.

Picture’s Up Productions is my passion project, YouTube channel, and personal brand. It represents the combined efforts of myself and all of the talented people I’ve been lucky enough to work with. When you see a Picture’s Up film or video, you can rest assured that tireless, meticulous work and care went into making it the best it could possibly be.

As a student at the University of Georgia, I’ve become very interested in the field of media studies and have begun focusing my channel to promote media literacy and understanding of the industrial structures at work in our media-saturated world.
