Michael Light has worked with Picture’s Up Productions on various projects as an actor, director, writer, and assistant director. A childhood friend of founder Sam Morgan, Michael has roots in the theater world, having built his skill as an actor by starring in numerous elementary, middle, and high school productions. Though he first appeared in a Picture’s Up film as a supporting actor in 2022’s Out for Delivery, he quickly became a vital contributor to the creative process, starring in and assistant directing One Night in Squatchtown and co-writing/co-directing is this ForReal? by the end of that year. All three went on to be nominated for various awards at the All American High School Film Festival, and the latter would go on to win Best Micro-Movie in 2023.
